First Beatles Book 1995

"The Scousers" was published in 1995 by Dan Rivers of Maine. Only one hundred copies were printed and I own two of them. It is an extremely rare book.

First Published Book 1984

Golden Quill Press of New Hampshire published my first book in 1984. "Wonder Voyages Upon Unmoving Clouds" was a hard cover volune collection of poems. There were 300 copies printed in the first edition. I own three of this orginal run.

Chapbook 1984

Longford-Limerick Press was a tiny publisher of poetry and prose chapbooks. I founded the press with Terry Sexton in 1982 when we were both living out in Boston, Massachusetts. We probably put out about five individual titles. I had lost track of this series of chapbooks until Terry mailed me two of them from Milwaukee. "Longford Notes: Poems in the Key of Rage" was just about Land's End as for as my poetry writing life went.

Chapbook 1983

Longford-Limerick of Boston put out this thin chapbook of some of my poems and prose in 1983. I think I sold them for $1 per copy. The title of this work was "Legion of Fools: Views from the Paraphet."

Archives Adventurer

During the autmn semester of 2016, I began to transport my personal archives to the Greenville Technical College library. With retirement right around the corner, it seemed to a good idea to see that there was a permanent depository for books, magazines and papers.  The project quickly expanded into a professional objective for the 2016-17 college year. I am now collecting published works of my colleagues in the Public Services, Arts and Sciences Division. It's been a new experience working as a detective of research.

I delivered 19 pieces of printed material to the library on September 16, 2016.. 10 of these collected items were from my personal stash.
